IDGA's Border Management Summit was a well organized event which provided delegates with an honest and frank insight into DHS's border security efforts. The information provided with regards to policy formulation, procedure development, and technology application is current, and therefore, of high value. The best practices established through effective alignment of interdepartmental efforts, utilization of public and private partnerships, and international cooperation set definite trends for the future of border management. The positive attitude of DHS speakers bodes well for the achievement of DHS's goals.
