Who can enter?

You can! Whether you're a huge multinational corporation or a small-to-midsize business, a military barracks or a hospital, a small department or vast business unit, there’s an equal chance you could be one of the lucky winners. So long as your project or program has had a significant impact on your business, we want to hear from you.

The awards are open to projects in all countries, but US entrants would be better suited to view our North American Awards program.

How to enter for an award

Entering couldn't be easier. This year you'll find the process smoother than ever before. There are only 4 simple steps between you and the chance to take home a prestigious Excellence Award.

2) Gather your documents supporting your application. Download the correct application kit to help you put together the best entry for 2009.

3) Fill out your administration form

4) Email your supporting application documents and application form as outlined in the application pack to awards@iqpc.co.uk. All documents should be less than 2MB.

So how does the judging process work?

Once you have submitted both your application and the power point awards entry (please see specifications in the application kit) your awards will be submitted to IQPC’s unique committee of industry expert judges.

To ensure fairness in the judging processes, all judges are a neutral and hand-selected panel of industry only experts for Lean, Six Sigma & BPM. All judges mark your application based on a pre-defined set up judging criteria for each award category ensuring that the judging approach is fully standardised and direct comparison between entries possible.

From this 6 finalists will be selected for each category program category and 4 for each project category, that will be announced in the beginning of March, to continue to the next round of face-to-face judging.

Face to-face judging round

The integration of the face-to-face judging round ensures that judges garner a full in-depth understanding of your programme or project, making it not just a competition of 'the best powerpoint' but the best program, people and results.

Face-to-face interview are hosted on the 4th April at IQPC’s Euroean Profit Through Process Week, London, UK. Interviews will last 45 minutes in total and companies are allowed up to 3 team members present. Following the interviews the initial scoring against the judging criteria will be re-assed the winners and honorary mentions decided.

Awards ceremony

Winners will be publically announced on the 5th April at the Process Excellence Awards Ceremony & gala dinner, London, UK. Entrance to the awards drinks reception and gala dinner is included as part of Profit Through Process Week delegate package or charged at £150 for a singular ticket. Tickets include a 3 course award meal and the awards ceremony. Festivities will start at 7pm with a pre-awards drink reception and finish at 11pm with formal photographs of awards winners for the awards hall of fame.
