Interrogation_cuffed Terrorist interrogation: informant-based intelligence can counter the IED
Having conducted over 100 ‘point of capture interviews’ across some of the most dangerous parts of the world, former police officer and Federal Air Marshal Louis DeAnda, discusses his experiences in Latin America and the Middle East when it comes to getting information out of hardened terrorists. DeAnda traces the shift in strategy within the military as forces in Afghanistan finally begin to recognise the psychological and financial parallels between organised crime and local insurgency.
