As Assistant Chief Executive for IDA, Singapore and the Singapore Government CIO, James will provide the keynote address at GovTech 2012, touching on the iN2015 Masterplan and how Singapore has is moving towards a citizen-centric governance model. James will also highlight the key challenges and strategies to ICT implementation in the government sector of Singapore and provide invaluable and exclusive insights on improving e-governance.

As CIO for the Department of Health and Human Service, John will examine the challenges and requirements that are required to carry out the daily activities. John will highlight the importance of having the right infrastructure and the current ICT initiatives and solutions that he has implemented in the Department, to improve both internal and external efficiency and productivity.

Darin will speak on how to improve overall agility and productivity by showing how to streamline processes. Having worked as CIO in both the private and public sector, Darin will combine the experience and best practice that he has gained from both sectors, and showcase it in his experiences at CRIMTRAC, the national information-sharing service for Australia’s police, law enforcement and national security agencies.
As the Chief of the newly commissioned ICTO in the Philippines, Louis will analyse the Philippine government ICT policy and how they have made progress in e-governance. Louis will also touch on cyber security and the measures that the Philippine government has taken to combat security threats.
Speaking on cyber security, Husin will examine the role of emergency response teams and highlight their importance in dealing with security threats. Husin will also highlight the latest initiatives taken by the Malaysian government to address cyber security threats
Howard will examine the latest e-government policies in Taiwan, as well as highlight the latest initiatives in mobile, cloud and e-services for the government of Taiwan.
