Admission Policy & FAQs
The International Armoured Vehicles Exhibition Hall is open to military personnel, exhibition and partner guests, pre-approved defence industry professionals, as well as approved press and media.
An application must be submitted for a visitor pass (including exhibition and partner guests).
Registrations should be completed no later than 10th February 2012 for all application processing and confirmations. After this date, you must email Armouredvehicles@iqpc.co.uk directly.
Media attendees are recommended to contact Kim Vigilia at email@example.com for a separate registration and access pass; however, they must apply for a Press Waiver form and bring press/media credentials on the day of the event.
You may encounter delays during registration on the 21st and 22nd February 2012 during the main exhibition days.
Who can attend?
All exhibition visitors must be pre-screened for security purposes; pre-approved attendees are members of the armed forces, government, defence industry professionals and other industry members with a validated interest and involvement with armoured vehicles and defence.
What proof of identity should I bring for registration?
Please bring your passport or military photo ID, business card, along with a print out of your confirmation email with your official entry barcode enclosed.
Can I share a badge with my coworkers?
Due to security reasons, all conference and exhibition hall visitors must have an official badge, worn by the person named on it. Those persons with invalid or insufficient proof of identity will not be allowed into the exhibit hall, may be removed from the exhibition and can be prosecuted. Security personnel will be performing identity checks as a condition of entry as well as random checks during the event.
What should I wear to the event?
Military personnel are invited to wear their uniform; Industry members and other visitors are asked to wear Business Attire.
Can I bring camera/video cameras to the event?
- The only people allowed full access are the register IAV official photographer and film crew. There is to be no other photography or filming in the main conference room. However, photography of stands and/or exhibits is allowed only with the expressed permission of the stand manager in the Exhibition Hall.
- Defence IQ reserves the right to exclude any person(s).
- No person under the age of 18 years, including children of exhibitors, will be admitted during the tenancy period.
- Defence IQ reserves the right to exclude or remove anyone from FIVE who does not comply with this policy or who they reasonably consider are likely to break these rules
No attendee can bring any weapons, guns, sharp implements or explosives. Please adhere to the regulations set out in the UK Export Control Act of 2002.
