Conference Day One: 09:40 AM FAA’s Next Generation Pavement Design

Mr. Jeffrey Gagnon joined the Airport Technology R&D Branch in August 2007 as the Airport Pavement Sub-Team Manager. He is a civil engineer with over 18 years of experience in the aviation industry. He has worked with several international aviation consulting firms on a diverse range of projects ranging from design and construction of large international airports to pavement research studies, as well as, airport pavement management systems. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of New Hampshire in 1990 and a Master‘s of Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1992. He is a licensed professional engineer in the states of North Carolina and Maryland and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Airfield Pavement Committee.
