The Conference

We are proud to unveil the full details for this year’s 2013 International Armoured Vehicles conference – the 12 page brochure is available here.

New features to check out in the 2013 programme include the Industry Technical Expertise Showcase (Industry Day), the International industry Leaders Panel, the Vehicle Test Track and the International Armoured Vehicles Awards.

Major General Andrew Sharpe (UK MoD), Lieutenant General David Halverson (US Army) and Brigadier General Stefan Andersson (Swedish Army) are amongst the 50+ senior speakers from 34 countries scheduled to lead sessions during the 2-day main conference… See the full speaker list now.

The Exhibition

Attracting 2,500+ visitors annually, the International Armoured Vehicles Exhibition is a focused exhibition hall designed to complement the conference discussions. Featuring 80-100 exhibitors, the exhibition is where visitors can meet the technical experts of capabilities discussed during the conference sessions and learn about the latest technology directly from the manufacturers and suppliers.

As part of this year’s show, we are featuring the Exhibition Theatre, which offers visitors the chance to hear leading OEMs, Prime Contractors and Systems Integrators discuss their current technologies and platforms. The agenda will be directly aligned with the conference themes to provide attendees a complete and holistic experience onsite.

Test Track

Defence IQ is proud to announce that they are hosting a Dynamic Vehicle Experience at the Long Valley Test Track, exclusive to test track exhibitors and invited military personnel.

Key features of the track include different available routes (ie Alpine Track) and obstacles (Rough Going, Sinusoidal Waves, Deep Wade), all of which have an estimated duration of at least 15 minutes each. 200 sqm welcome sites are provided at the start and finish points, with space for test track exhibitor hospitality stands.
