Rationale:
As an assistant the world is your oyster! You can take your career which ever way you choose
whether it be recruitment, events planning or starting your own business... The key is to recognise
who you are and what you really want and then identify what your goals, priorities and strengths
really are, and to focus these to achieve your objectives. Katie will help you to get a grip on your life
and find the clarity you need to achieve your dreams.

- Getting a grip of your life: A self assessment to get a snapshot of where you currently are
- Rising above your roadblocks: Adopt the mind frame to overcome any obstacles that come your way

About your workshop facilitator:
Katie Gallagher is a global coach who has been coaching since 1998 and has made a positive impact
on people all across Australia and as far a fi eld as New York City. She was the resident Life Coach for
the reality TV series ‘Inch Loss Down Under’ 2006, produced by popular British morning television
show GMTV and has appeared regularly on Perth’s ABC radio presenting ‘life tips’ for listeners.
An Accredited Coach (International Coach Federation) and a graduate of Coach U, she has been
coaching since 1998, working privately and as an in house coach for both government and private
organisations.

About your workshop facilitators:
Kathie M. Thomas is a successful Virtual Assistant with a 15+ year old practice. She was a VA before
the term ‘virtual assistant’ was in use. The founder of A Clayton’s Secretary, established March 1994,
she pioneered the Virtual Assistant industry in Australia. The network was formally established in April
1996. Prior to establishing her business she had a background of 23 years’ secretarial/administrative
experience in the corporate world, working for CEOs and MDs as well as project groups.
