All very good. This has been very useful.
John Cahalan, Dublin Airport Authority
Very informative & interesting. Very useful. Excellent
James Lewis, Lagan Construction
Very valuable in order to give the client perspective & to share information-a two way process
Andrew Horan, Defence Estates UK MoD
The latest statistics from the ACI, show a strong 8% increase in international air traffic between Q1 2007 and Q1 2008
It's not therefore surprising that airport pavements are under increasing strain as demand for air travel escalates and the capacity of aeroplanes increases. Q1 2008 also saw the Airbus A380 make its European debut. This high capacity, double decker airbus is likely to be the first of a larger breed of aircraft, necessitating a higher load bearing capacity for pavements.
This rapid growth in air travel is driving airfield expansion, pavement upgrades and increased airfield maintenance, but ironically it is also limiting windows of opportunity for carrying out work whilst maintaining operational efficiency
But what does this mean for you?
Transport IQ's 2nd Annual Innovative Airport Pavement Management will provide you with the core information that you need to optimise airfield efficiency during pavement works, improve performance and durability of airport pavements and dramatically reduce pavement maintenance, replacement and reconstruction costs. It will bring together leading experts in civil engineering, commercial airfield operations, the CAA, ICAO and the UK MoD to update you with the latest revisions to leading industry design, maintenance and construction guides and techniques.
Make sure this year you're at Innovative Airport Pavement Management, the essential annual industry event, to hear how to:
