The latest statistics from the ACI, show a strong 8% increase in international air traffic between Q1 2007 and Q1 2008

It's not therefore surprising that airport pavements are under increasing strain as demand for air travel escalates and the capacity of aeroplanes increases. Q1 2008 also saw the Airbus A380 make its European debut.
