How to Develop a Mine Feasibility Study for your Company
This masterclass will be facilitated by Linton Kirk a Chief Mining Engineer, who has 30 years varied experience in mining, earthmoving and management covering both open pit and underground operations. His operating experience includes gold, iron ore and copper in five countries. His areas of expertise lie within project management, feasibility studies, audits, owner mining studies and implementation.
Workshop B: 8.30am – 11.30pm
How to Avoid Financial Pitfalls during a Feasibility Study
This workshop will be facilitated by John Elkington a Mining Cashflow Evaluation Consultant, who has had over 40 years experience in the mining sector, many of which he has assisted in improving operational performance for mine projects. John has developed a number of software tools to assist in the efficient evaluation of projects.

How to Define a Feasibility Study: Different Things for Different People
This workshop will be facilitated by Greg Lane is a Technical Solutions General Manager for a large engineering company, where he is responsible for all his company’s feasibility studies. Greg has held development roles in base metals operations at Hellyer and Kambalda, and he has had over 15 years experience in the engineering, design and commissioning of small and large capacity projects.

How to Implement a Project Recovery Technique for your Feasibility Study
This workshop will be facilitated by Steve van Barneveld, whom has gained substantial experience in the coal handling and preparation industry covering resource evaluation, process plant design, construction, commissioning and operations. As the General Manager Engineering Services of a well respected engineering firm, Steve is responsible for business development, project definition, engineering design, and construction and commissioning.
Who from IQPC will I meet at Mine Feasibility 2008?
Catherine Fee is the Conference Project Manager for IQPC’s Mine Feasibility 2008 event. Originally from Ireland she is a seasonal traveller, with her most recent adventure scouting the lands of Africa and Asia. Since coming to Australia, Catherine says that she loves the weather, people and now has become fond of the country’s down to earth and practical look at life, which the mining industry exemplifies. She has recently put together IQPC’s Gold Exploration conference and is looking forward to meeting project managers and head’s of feasibility in Perth at the Mine Feasibility 2008 event.
