as you are well aware, the use of SCR is expected to increase dramatically both in light-duty and heavy-duty applications. The technology is already well established in the European heavy-duty truck market and will become increasingly important in the US market to deliver compliance with the EURO 6 and EPA 2010 emission standards for heavy-duty diesel engines. But still, one of the biggest challenges nowadays is SCR in passenger cars to meet EURO 6 regulations to be mandated from 2014. This conference will answer the most urgent questions regarding international legislation and market situation. Besides, the conference focuses on the most urgent technological aspects of SCR systems and their components.
Congress-Highlights:
- Explore how to overcome the challenges for SCR systems like engine performance, packaging and low temperature to capitalize on the best technological solutions
- Learn how to deal with the spatial and geometric constraints for SCR systems in passenger cars to meet specific packaging requirements
- Analyse the challenges of combining SCR with EGR or with DPF to duly meet future emission standards
- Learn how to lower SCR catalyst volumes by using advanced zeolite SCR technology and optimised DOC/CDPF
- Understand how to solve thermal management demands of combined systems to optimize the interaction between system concept, catalyst technology and fuel consumption
