An accomplished Training and Human Resource industry expert, Cheah Chin Teik has over 27 years of experience working in Intel. He has had a wide variety of experiences in training & development and human resources role regionally and globally. Some of the roles he has had include Regional Director of Human Resources Development and Global Director of Employee Services Chin Teik was involved in the setting up of the first ever 10,000 square feet Intel University Training centre. He was responsible for setting the vision, strategy and programme to support the training and development of 2,400 employees to support Intel’s business need. As a result of that, his Training & Development Department won the ARTDO (Asian Regional Training and Development Organisation) award for training excellence.
Chin Teik was also handpicked to start up the Asia Employee Services organisation. With the success of the Asia Employee Services organisation start-up, he moved up to be Co-Director of Global Employee Services. At his global director of employee services role, he had 600+ employees working for him, including direct staff from U.K., Israel, Asia, North America and Latin America.
In addition, Chin Teik has played a key role in the founding of PSDC (The Penang Skills Development Centre). As the lead strategic planning facilitator, he facilitated a team of training managers from multi-national companies, state government reps and a local University rep to benchmark, propose and eventually start up this pioneering training centre. Today, it is a key benchmark in the Asia and other International training centress.

Robin Speculand, specialist in organisational strategy implementation, and author of Bricks to Bridges – Making Your Strategy Come Alive and Turning It On – Sure- Fire Business Stories to Ignite, Excite and Entertain. He is the CEO of Bridges Business Consultancy Int, which specialises in making strategy come alive. He is a masterful event facilitator, an engaging keynote speaker and has been featured in business media such as the BBC Global, the Financial Times and in various business magazines.
Before foundingBridges, he was Asia Pacific Regional Vice President for Citigroup. He has lived and worked in the UK, US and Australia, and has operated in Asia since 1989. He holds an MBA from the National University of Singapore. Robin is the founder and president of Business Roundtable for Innovative Management, a Singapore-based management think tank and a founding member of Asia Speakers Association.
Robin is a graduate from the Asia Pacific MBA at the National University of Singapore and Manchester University in England. In 1994, Robin worked as consultant at the invitation of the Service Quality (SQ) Centre, a joint venture between the Singapore Government and Singapore Airlines.
Today, Robin is founder and President of BRIM – Business Roundtable for Innovative Management, (a Singapore based think tank) and a founding member of Asia Speakers Association. J. D. Messinger is the Chairman of the Essence Group of Companies. Before founding Essence, JD was the CEO for Ernst & Young, then Cap Gemini Ernst & Young for South East Asia, providing management consulting and IT services for global clients. JD has lead over 400 projects around the world and over the last seven years designed and implemented numerous shared services as well as business process outsourcing projects. James Harkness has fifteen years experience of change communication gained from working for some of the leading communication consultancies and supported by substantial in-house experience with The Body Shop International PLC. He has hands-on experience of developing internal and corporate communication programmes to support new brands, culture change, introduction of new ways of working and changes in leadership.
Prior to setting up his own business (www.harknesskennett.com), James was European Managing Director of the Change Communication practice at Burson-Marsteller. Previously, James was Managing Director and a founding member of Banner McBride, WPP's first start up business. James's consultancy experience followed five years at The Body Shop International plc where he was Head of Global Internal Communication. James's responsibilities included creating the strategy for internal and franchisee communication as well as developing programmes to ensure that the company's employees, in the 46 markets in which the organisation traded, reflected the company's brand and core values. Prior to The Body Shop, James was a senior consultant at Smythe Dorward Lambert and MSB (Managing the Service Business). James is a member of the IABC and the CIPR. He is a frequent writer and speaker on change communication issues. David Goldwich was born and raised in Miami, Florida, USA. He has a BA degree in Political Science with a focus on Political Communication, Organisation Theory, and Psychology. He has an MBA with a specialisation in Business Management and Organisation and also earned a JD degree. David practiced law in the United States for more than ten years, and is also trained as a mediator. He has experience managing a small business as well, serving as CEO of BVS, Inc., an employment screening company, from 1996-98.
Recognising that lawyers perpetuate rather than solve problems, David began lecturing and training in 1995. He has taught at the tertiary level in the USA and in Singapore, teaching in the areas of law, management, organisational behavior, communications skills, and critical and creative thinking.
David began training full time in Singapore in January 2002. He seeks to apply the "80/20 Rule" to training by identifying the few critical tools necessary for the greatest improvement and presenting them in a form that is simple to learn and simple to use. Michael Williams is an Energy Professional with over 30 years of worldwide experience particularly in gas and LNG, most recently in China and Taiwan. As the previous Managing Director (Gas & Power) for Shell in China, he was able to influence the change of China's energy policy to import LNG and to utilise gas. His influence on the development of energy policy in China and in Taiwan was recognised by the Energy Working Group of APEC and by the associated policy development body, APERC (Asia Pacific Energy Research Centre, based in Tokyo).

Richard Harrison was formerly with the Shell Group of Companies for 30 years. His final post was General Manager, Natural Gas and Project Development Manager for Shell in China from 1997 to 2001. His main responsibility was to develop a liquefied natural gas (LNG) import project, as well as sales and marketing of natural gas in China. Mr. Harrison acted as the Shell delegate on the Joint Venture Project Committee of the Australian North West Shelf LNG project between 1993 and 1997. During that period he was also seconded part-time to COAG Natural Gas Taskforce (to develop a national gas regulatory regime) to coordinate and report on the deliberations of the Upstream Working Group.
James A. Brimson is the renowned Guru of Advanced Budgeting Methodologies and the Previous Partner-in-Charge of Coopers and Lybrand’s (now Price Waterhouse Coopers) Cost Management Centre of Excellence, London. Sarah Cotgreave is an internationally renowned expert on organisational change and shared services. She has led global procurement, outsourcing and eCommerce operations within leading multinationals and public sector organisations such as GE, Reuters and Salomon Smith Barney. She has transitioned operations to both nearshore and offshore shared service arrangements, including moves to lower cost locations. Sarah is also involved in restructuring costs, improving processes, quality and customer service.
During a recent major assignment within OGC buying solutions, a UK central government agency, Sarah implemented a web-based shared service used by more than 50 agencies to enable public procurement professionals and their suppliers to buy and sell online. This programme won the 2007 Government Computing Award for Innovation in Shared Services, was recognised by the UK National Audit Office as an example of a “Successful Change Programme enabled by IT” and was presented as a best practice to other European Union countries.
