John Regan

Managing Director Swiss Re America Holding Corporation

John Regan joined Swiss Re in September of 2014 as CFO for Finance Reinsurance Americas. John is based in Armonk and is a member of the Americas Management Team, Finance Executive Team and the Reinsurance Finance Management Team.

Prior to joining Swiss Re, John held several senior finance roles at General Reinsurance Corporation, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc., where he was employed since 1998. His most recent role was CFO North America/Corporate Controller. In this role he managed several global transformational projects including SAP modernization and legal entity simplification. Prior to Gen Re, John worked for Lehman Brothers, First City Industries and Deloitte Haskins & Sells in various Finance functions.

John grew up in Western New York. He is a CPA and holds a BBA in Accounting from St. Bonaventure University.
