Kimberly M Stephens is the Senior Director of Finance and Accounting Operations at Acosta, Inc. which is headquartered in Jacksonville Florida. Kimberly has been with the organization since 2006 and has held various roles with increasing responsibility. In her role as Senior Director of Finance and Accounting Operations, Kimberly is responsible for the Retail Billing team, and AP functions across the organization in the US & Canada.
Kimberly possesses a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in organizational management. She is passionate about process improvement and employee development. During her tenure at Acosta she has developed process and procedure manuals, developed job paths for multiple positions, and improved processing efficiency for the AP team by 30%.
Kimberly has been exposed to constant change at Acosta and has been an integral part of the implementation team for Share Pointe Billing transition, Oracle EBS R12 implementation, and Fusion ERP implementation. She was also responsible for the integration and onboarding of employees from 25 companies acquired as a part of the expansion of Acosta into the Foodservice channel.
Kimberly is the mother of two adult children, and spends her free time traveling, reading, and serving her community through her positions with several community service organizations.
