Group Director of Marketing at COMO Hotels and Resorts & Former Director of Marketing IMG Worlds of Adventure

Alan spent the last 20 years of his marketing career in the travel and entertainment space. His career spans across Tourism boards, Airport, Theme parks and Entertainment and Hospitality. More recently, he was based in Dubai in the pioneering team of IMGWorlds of Adventure, the world’s largest indoor theme park.

Alan was involved the early launch phase of IMG and was responsible for setting up the overall marketing strategy for the new theme park. Before leaving for Dubai, Alan was the Director of Channels Marketing for Resorts World Sentosa, taking care of international channels marketing for the 3 theme parks, SEA aquarium, Adventure Cove and Universal Studio Singapore as well as the F&B and 6 hotels in the integrated resort. Prior to that, he also led the marketing and branding efforts of the corporatisation of Changi Airport Group. 

Alan is currently, Group Director of Marketing at COMO Hotels and Resorts and has recently launched the new COMO Castello Del Nero in Tuscany. He is also in charge of strategizing and implementing all group marketing efforts for the COMO chain.

Alan also provides consultation in the Attractions and Destination Marketing space mainly in the Middle East working with NTOs and Government entities.
