By 1945, half of all popcorns in America were consumed in movie theatres. More than 70 years later in 2016, popcorns were still the driving force of AMC’s theatre revenue increase. Revenue increased with 12% between 2015 and 2016 although ticket sales sunk. Movie theatres are distinguished from one another by the experiences they offer.
