Paul Hyink is responsible for end to end quality at
Whirlpool across all brands, regions and products to ensure the best possible
consumer experience. He defines the quality vision, strategy and
processes/tools to execute for results. This includes accountability to
drive more proactive new product quality with standardized tools and metrics,
as well as working lock-step with the regional teams improve existing product
quality for both trade customers and consumers.
Paul joined Whirlpool in 2010 as Director of North America
Supplier Quality and then spent 4 years as the Senior Director of North America
Quality before taking overall Global Quality responsibility in 2016. Prior
to Whirlpool, Paul was at Motorola for 10 years leading teams in Manufacturing,
Procurement and Quality.
Paul received a master's degree in business administration
from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago, and also holds
a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of
Illinois.
