Gary Goldberg is a champion for innovation in financial services. Having started his career on a trading desk in the City of London, he has gone on to lead business and technology change at Mizuho, Credit Suisse, BlueCrest, LCH.Clearnet amongst others. Gary now leads qdatus – an “investment bank” for data.

In 2018, Gary founded the European Banking and Regulator data forum to improve the dialogue between banks and regulators. The forum is now completing a pilot of a global, granular data standards to simplify regulatory reporting. His work on new approaches to data management and willingness to share insight with others has seen him named by DataIQ as one of the 100 most influential people in data-driven business in 2018 and 2019.
