Mr. Konate is a senior aviation consultant and Chief Executive Officer of KONSA SARL, based in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso. His experience comprises both Air Transport and Civil Aviation. In his consultant capacity, he is serving AFRAA as consulting Director, Technical and Operations since the 3rd of January 2019. Prior to AFRAA, he completed a nine-month contract with the African Development Bank and contributed to the development of the Bank Framework and Guidelines to Support the Aviation Sector in the Region. His corporate experience covered Air Transport and Civil Aviation in Africa for 35 years which ended in 2016 at the International Civil Organisation, where he was Deputy Regional Director of the Western and Central Africa Office (WACAF).
