Kristin Adams

Kristin Adams is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Afterglow Cosmetics. Afterglow, founded in 2004, was born out of Kristin's need for cosmetics that didn't irritate her skin and a belief that women shouldn't sacrifice color, performance or quality when choosing natural make-up. The company was a very early signer of the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics' Compact for Safe Cosmetics and maintains a very natural focused formulation philosophy. Her company's core focus has been to provide women with "deep green" natural cosmetics, free of as many synthetics as possible as well as common food based irritants such as gluten and soy. Kristin is passionate about industry wide definitions and third party certifications to address current confusion in the market regarding "natural" and "organic" claims.
