Jonas and his team are driving a broad range of data and analytics driven transformation initiatives at ME Bank, including a major data warehouse build, re-platforming their cloud first storage and compliance with the latest open banking reforms. They’ve faced a chicken and egg situation - as selecting which technology investments are the best to make has required investment. This session will explore how ME Bank is taking a data driven approach to planning new technology and system selection, by understanding the most relevant use cases of customer data and using them to iteratively drive future data and analytics investment.

Topics to be addressed will include:
  • Collecting customer data and carrying out customer journey mapping to understand use of products and buyer behavior – especially buying decisions and pain points

  • Exploring how design thinking was used to feed stakeholder input into development of the Enterprise Data Strategy
