In this co-facilitated workshop, you will explore the technology rich collaborative learning spaces that have been developed at the University of South Australia since 2012. Using case study project examples this session will explore the ‘whole of university approach’ from design through to implementation and share the challenges faced through each stage of project delivery.

  • Step-by-step investigation of the transformations at the University of South Australia from start to finish and analysing the outcomes
  • Understanding the stakeholder engagement process across all project stakeholders
  • Assisting and supporting teachers through the transformation process
  • Learning from obstacles and challenges – How they were overcome and how to approach them in the future
  • Collaborative discussion about moving towards New Generation Learning Spaces – What to consider and how to strategise
  • Evaluating teacher and student behavior in the new learning spaces post implementation
