Caroline Basyn is CIO and SVP Business Services of Mondelēz International (MDLZ),
a global company leading the future of snacking with 2018 net revenues of
approximately $26 billion.
Since joining the organization in October 2014, Caroline built a new global business
service organization—core to the company’s transformational journey. 4 Years into
the effort, about 5000 colleagues are part of the Business Service team in an
ecosystem of captive and non-captive service centers, delivering close to $ 400
million a year in savings.
In October 2018 Caroline expanded her responsibilities becoming Mondelēz International Chief Information Officer and
SVP Business Services. In her new role Caroline is focused on the creation of a best in class Integrated Business
Services. Aim of the new organization is to power Mondelēz International Growth ambition and deliver business value
beyond the traditional cost and operational efficiencies associated with Shared Services.
Caroline has extensive experience in Global Business Services and IT, with a clear ability to create winning organizations
from scratch, including creating the first Global Business Services Innovation Center at P&G.
She has spent over 20 years at Procter & Gamble (P&G) and prior to MDLZ, she was Chief Information Officer at Bacardi
