1:50 PM INTERACTIVE GROUP DISCUSSION: Enterprise Architecture In The Digital Landscape: The 5 Components Of Digital Strategy

Customers are demanding that the private and public sectors provide contemporary digital services. Formerly the Head of Digital Strategy at Australia’s Digital Transformation Agency, Alan has been involved with providing strategic leadership for government to develop the capabilities to respond to peoples digital needs. He is now undertaking further strategic research into collaboration and capabilities at UNSW Business school. Toomas is an expert on EA and a lecturer at UNSW. In this interactive session, Alan and Toomas will break down the contemporary challenges of working through digital strategy with an Enterprise Architecture Lens:

  • Digital strategy development is different to traditional strategy development. How can EA take into account an array of business partners and valued services to inform and shape a renewed digital business strategy\
  • How the architecture discipline can contribute to funding models and management processes that govern organisational change
  • Cultivating the ability to put the customer (“user”) at the centre of a learning organisation, and how this affects business structure
  • How to identify the technology platforms vital to realising business capabilities in line with a digital strategy
  • What do these disruptions mean for the role of EA and how does it best fit into a contemporary digital environment
