9:50 am - 10:20 am Delivering the unachievable: leading high performing project teams to deliver what others say cannot be done

Ben Webb, CEO of our sponsor SPG, will discuss how project teams can deliver seemingly unachievable and complex projects. As the leader of SPG—a full-service project management consultancy—Ben has led teams to deliver some of the most complex, high-stake and transformative Australian projects of the last decade. In many cases, these were projects others said could not be done.

Referring to three case studies, Ben will explain how SPG develops innovative, sustainable and safe solutions to overcome even the most complex obstacles, never accepting failure as an option.

Case studies:
·        Sydney BridgeClimb: In 2018, SPG project managed the successful bid for Hammons Holdings to procure the Sydney Harbour BridgeClimb
·        Sydney Northern Beaches B-Line bus network: SPG worked with Transport for NSW to deliver a much-needed rapid transport solution to the Northern Beaches
·        Sydney Zoo: SPG has helped turn a paddock into a world class zoo, set to be one of Western Sydney and Australia’s major family attractions.
