Australian digital marketing agency VERSA recognised a problem with the retention of staff due to an unstable work-life balance. CEO Kath Blackham had trialled flexible working arrangements in the past to enable a better work culture. After preparing the leadership team, Kath decided to create a single day off for everyone introduced on July 1st 2018. 12 months later, staff retention has increased from 76% to 88% with a focus on introducing new flexible working arrangements.
