Ben Robinson

Senior Project Leader TWI Ltd

Ben Robinson is a Senior Project Leader at TWI having joined the company in 2015 following a doctorate at UCL. His work focusses on the deposition, characterization and assessment of a variety of coatings for a range of applications. This work has largely focused on the protection of structures in the marine environment through the use of sacrificial coatings. Ben currently leads TWIs activities in the Innovate UK CROWN 2 project which seeks to achieve further cost reduction in offshore wind fabrication, installation and maintenance through the use of thermally sprayed aluminum.
