Martin Ros studied Geology in Kiel with the focus on marine geology, applied/engineering geology and geophysics. In his 20 years of work experience Martin gained his first practical in-depth geo-engineering experiences as project manager by executing soil investigations for environmental and civil construction/foundation projects. In 2001 he started with the offshore industry as Project Manager for O&G being also involved in the first offshore wind farms by then. Through his further career Martin took over the role as Business Development/Sales Manager implementing the market segments Offshore Wind, Bridges and Harbours worldwide for MENCK GmbH. His skills regarding pile driveability and impact on pile design, installation procedures as well as his strive for innovation resulted in technical developments like the drive-drill-drive pile installation technique, soft piling start procedures, driving on flanges as well as a patent for an UW noise mitigation system. Through the last decade Martin gained extensive engineering knowledge within the offshore installation technology, turbine technology and other engineering terrains within an offshore windfarm. In 2011 Martin joined E.ON Climate and Renewables (now RWE Renewables International GmbH) as Consent-& Logistic Manager being now the Engineering Manager for project development/construction Arkona Becken Südost /OWF Germany/Denmark.
