Michael Huaco is responsible for portfolio and asset management of Uber Technology Inc’s global real estate assets including the acquisition, construction, and management of more than 7 million square feet in a hyper growth technology company. Additionally, he is accountable for implementing industry best practices, strategic planning and a global workforce strategy.
Prior to working for Uber, Michael was SVP of Corporate Real Estate for McKesson, a Fortune 5 Company, where he managed a global portfolio of 30 Million Square feet. Michael was also the Vice President of Corporate Real Estate and Business Strategy for Kaiser Permanente where he managed one of the country’s largest healthcare real estate portfolios.
Michael has more than 25 years of experience in all facets of domestic and international corporate real estate, including strategic planning, real estate transactions, and management of facilities and construction. He received a Master’s degree in real estate finance from Golden Gate University in San Francisco and received his Bachelor’s degree in architecture from UC Berkeley.
