Dr. Mohamed Ayeldeen

Dr. Mohamed Ayeldeen, Technical Manager for Keller Middle East is associated with the construction industry with more than twelve years' of geotechnical design experience. He has worked as a researcher at the Tokyo Institute of Technology in Japan, and has also been their faculty member. Dr. Ayeldeen’s professional career as profound designer spans not only in the Middle East but also in Asia and Europe. He has written several publications based on his research and field experience, dealing with improving the soil characteristics and behavior using cementing materials (cement, polymer, biopolymer) under varying ground conditions and by use of different technologies. His specialty and prime focus remains in treating soft soils that was instigated during his involvement in the design of prefabricated vertical drains for a prestigious project in Egypt where 82.5million linear meters of PVD were installed followed by preloading and subsequent monitoring and analysis of results to understand the soil behavior that have been well documented into few of his research papers.
