Josué Batista is a business and technology strategist with a focus on the intersection of digital health, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and the internet of things.

He enjoys tackling complex business and health tech challenges, shaping them into clear, compelling, and shareable strategic value propositions, and then creating a viable roadmap for execution and value realization.

In 2018, he started a business and technology vlog on LinkedIn called “What and Why First.”  His vlog delves into diverse topics such as health tech, strategy, leadership, innovation, business architecture, solution architecture, value creation, and emerging technology.

Josué is a leader in the Business Capability Management Group at HM Health Solution, a cloud-based health insurance payor platform owned by Highmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Western Pennsylvania.

Josué is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and he hold an MBA and Masters of Science in Information Systems Management from Duquesne University, Palumbo-Donahue School of Business Administration. He is Distinguished Toastmaster and served as District Director 2015-2016 for Toastmasters International’s District 13.
