Update: 18th March 2020
In light of the recent developments surrounding COVID-19, I wanted to provide you with some information leading up to Loan Origination & Experience 2020.
After a careful review of the current situation with COVID-19 and extensive consultation with key event stakeholders – including speakers, exhibitors and partners – we felt it was the right decision to postpone the event to ensure a successful event for all participants as well as manage the safety considerations.
While this decision comes at a time of universal uncertainty, our top priority is the health and safety of our customers, partners and employees.
Originally scheduled to run from 18th - 20th May 2020, Loan Origination & Experience 2020 will now take place on the 13th -15th October 2020. The venue, Pullman Hyde Park, Sydney, remains unchanged.
Please be advised that existing registrations remain valid and the Loan Origination Team will work with key stakeholders including exhibitors, partners and sponsors to mitigate inconvenience.
Now is the time been a more important time for the enterprise architecture community to meet, collaborate, and share ideas in disruptive architectural practices in support of rapid organisational change. We look forward to seeing you in Melbourne this September.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly.

In Australia, a new legislation on consumer data rights, paving the way for the introduction of Open Banking, has been passed. The new rules allow consumers to have more freedom to share their account data with third party fintechs and challenger banks. Because of this legal foundation, expect that there will be increased competition across the industry. One could even say that the impact will be most felt in Loan Origination.
Joel Larsen, Head of Customer Engagement, Home Ownership at Westpac spoke to IQPC ahead of the upcoming 15th Annual Loan Origination & Experience Summit 2020, Australia's longest running and only event dedicated to Loan Origination & Experience happening on 18-20 May 2020 at Pullman Hyde Park, Sydney, Australia.
