Christian TCHAYEP WANDJI recently joined Smiths Detection as Key Account Manager Africa after 17 years of experience in the Sales & Business Development in Africa. Up to last year he was in charge of Technical Sales in Sub-Sahara Africa for Weatherford.

Christian develops the business according to Smiths Detection strategy for the dedicated business segment, potential opportunities and makes sure the offers reflect the client’s needs. He manages the local market by organizing and developing the agents and distributors network.

His mission in East Africa consists in supporting any airports, airlines and authorities in their daily challenge to provide security to their passengers and customers. This is doing with some partners Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, Kigali International Airport, Entebbe International Airport and Julius Nyerere international Airport, Dar Es Salaam, to name but a few.
