3:00 PM Extending Beyond Traditional Libraries Services to Drive Customer Engagement through New Technology Innovation

Libraries have always been a place for the community to gather and learn. However, as the nature of valuable skills changes, information offered by libraries need to evolve to remain relevant. As such, the ability of libraries to facilitate an environment where the community can learn skills such 3D printing, laser cutting and software design will be integral to driving engagement. In this workshop the State Library of South Australia examines how the provision of these facilities can both retain and drive customer satisfaction for creating a Next Generation Library.
