Ellil Mathiyan Lakshmanan

Ellil is a double cancer survivor who is dedicated in helping others. He is actively involved in social work where main areas of volunteering are Singhealth, Singapore General Hospital, Changi General Hospital and Singapore Cancer Society. He is the co-Chair of the Singapore Patient Advocacy Network (SPAN), co-founder and current Vice-President of  the Ostomy Association of Singapore, Patient Ambassador at SGH, CGH and SCS, multiple Patient Award winner, including the Inspirational Hero Patient Award 2015 (CGH), Inspirational Patient Award 2017 (SGH) and recently Singapore Patient Advocate Award 2018 (TTSH).
