In 2018, the Australian Public Sector saw a number of updates and recommendations to governance and risk management guidelines and standards, including the ISO31000 and the PGPA Act. These recommendations encourage organisations to rethink the role senior leadership must play to ensure risk management is fully integrated at all levels of the organisation, ensuring greater attention to the changing nature of risk and governance through improved performance reporting and utilising simplified language.
