Dirk Holoubek

Director, Global Shared Services Applied Materials

Dirk is the Procure to Pay and Record to Report Director for Applied Materials’ Global Financial Services group.  In his current role he has focused on global alignment/improvement of key processes including accounts payable, vendor master, travel & expense, and disbursements; all with an emphasis on process controls.   

Dirk has been with Applied Materials for over 22 years holding many different roles within the Finance organization.   Some of his prior experience includes supporting two recent acquisitions (Semitool Inc. and Varian Semiconductor), Finance Manager for the company’s Oracle/SAP ERP implementation, supporting various product groups as a business manager, working on various outsourcing/insourcing initiatives, and supporting the manufacturing group with tax and trade compliance issues.

Areas of expertise include shared services, manufacturing internal controls, gross margin analytics, cost accounting, outsourcing/insourcing, supply chain management, inter-company transactions, trade compliance, Singapore Goods and Service Tax, and Hubco tax structures.
