Understanding travel behaviours is paramount to transport planning, policy and operation. The Transport Analytics Group at Data61 conducts research to address transportation problems via data-driven approaches. Two of our key research areas are demand analysis and impact analysis. This session will cover:
- Using a supply-demand based analytical method to model the utilisation/patronage of the Sydney Trains network
- The impact of weather
- The impact of new services provided by the Sydney Metro
