9:00 AM STRATEGIES TO UTILISE DATASETS TO CRAFT AN INDIVIDUALISED STUDENT EMPLOYABILITY SERVICE

This workshop will focus on utilising datasets to track graduates career maturity. The University of Birmingham utilises over 300 000 datasets to identity students who might need extra support. The University can then intervene early and ensure these students can reach their full potential. Even before these red flags occur, the university surveys its students to identify what they are looking for from their employability program.

9:10 AM Delivering Where the Students Are: Bespoke and Impactful Work Integrated Learning Models

The University of Birmingham have developed work integrated learning opportunities that are embedded into course design and offer students an equal opportunity to access. This session will explore the development of the University of Birmingham careers network. Specially, the development of a biochemistry work integrated learning module that increase employment outcomes by 15%.
