Olivier Chavy

Olivier Chavy (b.1964) was appointed President and CEO of Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts in September 2016 as the company embarked on an unprecedented global growth phase.

A seasoned hotelier, who assumed his first role as General Manager at the tender age of 27, Olivier joined the company with more than three decades of industry experience.

Before taking the helm at Mövenpick, Olivier was CEO and President of leading global interior architectural design firm Wilson Associates. Prior to this, he held several high-profile industry positions including International Head, Global Brand Performance of Luxury & Lifestyle Brands for Hilton Worldwide, where he managed the brand performance teams for Waldorf Astoria and Conrad Hotels & Resorts.

His vast industry experience also encompasses hotel operations in roles including Senior Vice President of Hilton Grand Vacations Resort and Area Vice President of Hotel Operations Hilton Hotels.

Before joining Hilton, Olivier held key executive positions with renowned French luxury hotel and casino operator, Groupe Lucien Barrière, including General Manager and Area Vice President.

Olivier received his Master in Business Administration from Cornell University, a postgraduate diploma from ESSEC Business School and a BA in Hotel Management from Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Hotel Management School in France.
