Stephen has extensive experience in Homeland Security and CBRNE, and a strong operational background. Prior to Apstec, Stephen was the security advisor to the British Government on joint security programmes with foreign governments. Before that he spent six years working on the London 2012 Olympics, initially as the Head of Security for the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) and as the Head of Security for the Olympic Park and Village during the Games. As the Head of Security for the ODA, he delivered the largest security programme in the World at the time, which involved the security design integration into all the new venues and the delivery of the security infrastructure and systems programme for the Olympic Park precinct. Stephen also enjoyed a successful military career heading up the British Army’s counter terrorist bomb disposal, weapons technical intelligence, ammunition and explosives management capability.
