In this session, we will focus on the current state and future of Aboriginal Justice in Australia. We will discuss the importance of a culturally responsive justice system that considers the unique experiences and perspectives of Indigenous peoples. We will also explore the efforts made in advocating for the rights of Indigenous peoples and working to address the systemic barriers that contribute to the over-representation of Indigenous peoples in the criminal justice system. Additionally, we will discuss the challenges and opportunities facing this endeavor in achieving its vision for the future of Aboriginal justice, and the importance of continued efforts to address this issue.
