Bruno Leduc

Director of IP & Licensing IBM

A French citizen, 64 years old, Bruno is living in Paris.

After his studies (graduated as Civil Engineer), Bruno started his career at Dassault Systemes, at that time a start-up, where he held various technical and marketing positions. Bruno joined IBM in 1987 as sales rep for the PLM business in the French Aerospace sector, then became Worldwide Technical Manager for that PLM business in 1994.

Bruno joined the IBM Europe Intellectual Property department in 2000, since then he negotiates patent and technology deals across EMEA, with companies of different size and from all industries. He took the role of Director of IP Licensing in 2009, managing a licensing team and coordinating actions with IBM Research and other Divisions across EMEA.

Since 2018, he is working also on the “defensive” part of the IP business and contributes to the definition of the IBM Corp. IP strategy.

 

Bruno is a Chess Arbiter and a great amateur of wines too!
