Head of Intellectual Property, In-house Patents Counsel ARVOS LJUNGSTRÖM

David Jones-Robinson is a graduate Mechanical Engineer, early adopter of the QMW Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property and has worked as a skilled carpenter. Despite an addiction to Copyright he has spent the best part of his IP career in the fields of Patents and technical innovation, latterly as Head of Intellectual Property and in-house Patents Counsel for the LJUNGSTRÖM Division of Arvos Group (formerly a part of Alstom Power). He has a reputation for finding creative solutions to complex IP solutions and following the maxim that “hurt feelings aren’t actionable” he takes the long view on the development of IP based on what it is and not on what many (at times of technological advance) might like it to be.
