Manuel Neetz

Head of IP Diagnostic Imaging Siemens Healthineers

Manuel Neetz studied physics at the University of Heidelberg and the National University of Singapore. After completing his PhD at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics in Dresden he joined the IP department at the Healthcare Sector of Siemens AG in 2012. In addition to protecting, defending and exploiting IP rights, he also works on the continuous improvement of the global IP processes at Siemens Healthineers AG which is separately listed since 2018. Manuel Neetz is a European Patent Attorney and in-house patent attorney, and he is responsible for advising the Business Area Diagnostic Imaging on all IP matters. In his spare time he is passionate about cycling and tinkering with the perfect espresso.
