Michael is Mount Carmel Health Partners' Chief Operating Officer, responsible for the organization's strategy, operations and growth. Mount Carmel Health Partners is a 2,200 provider, 200,000-life, 13 ACO clinically integrated network, and is responsible for Mount Carmel Health System's Hospice & Palliative care, bundled payments, and direct-to-employer strategies. In calendar year 2020 Health Partners will have more full-risk Medicare lives than any other provider in Ohio. Prior to joining Health Partners, Ceballos led growth and strategy for privately backed healthcare services companies – Aver and Integra ServiceConnect. Previously, Michael served in various managed care general management and strategy roles including leading Centene’s Ohio Medicare-Medicaid Plan (MMP) and serving as Chief of Staff to UnitedHealthcare’s Medicare & Retirement CEO. He began his career as an engineer, leading cross-functional teams. Ceballos received both a Bachelor and Master degree from Stanford University, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He served as an Advisor to Care at Hand, a health care technology start-up acquired by Mindoula, and sits on the board of directors for Columbus Early Learning Center, Trinity Health Accountable Care Organization, and chairs the Mount Carmel Behavioral Health board.
