Chief Consulting Engineer, Electrical Power Systems GE Aviation

Dr. Andy Gadre is Chief Consulting Engineer for Electrical Power Systems at GE Aviation’s Electric Power business in Dayton, Ohio. Andy started his career at GE’s Global Research center, developing advanced technologies in electric power systems for utility, industrial, aviation and military applications. He has also served in Product Management and Engineering Management roles at GE and Meggitt. Most recently he has been focused on Electric Power generation and conversion technologies for aviation applications including hybrid and electric aviation. Andy received his PhD from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Texas.
