Cross River Rail Case Study: Lessons From Creating Operational Readiness For A Future Proof Rail Network Relying On ETCS and Automatic Train Operation Capability

At Cross River Rail, Simon Cook is heading up Qld Government’s efforts that act as the foundation for its intent to modernise its signalling systems and control environments. Through the staged rollout of ETCS which will be complimented by automation and digitisation, a vision for improved safety, productivity and capacity management across Qld Rail is being charted.
