9:40 AM CLINICIAN APPEARANCE – How to Effectively Engage Consumers to Help you Transition from the Project to Business as Usual

The University of Canberra Hospital (UCH), Specialist Centre for Rehabilitation, Recovery and Research, was a major milestone for health in the ACT. It marks the culmination of almost seven years of planning, community consultation and construction work to deliver Canberra’s third public hospital. Learn how to address culture and stakeholder challenges that come with any major development by:

  • Having active and authentic involvement of staff and consumers in developing models of care and hospital design
  • Developing a cultural change program to empower staff to have a voice, ensure key leaders are on the ground and collaborate with health consumer groups to continually improve design and processes
  • Celebrating success is important for building camaraderie, recognition and morale, especially during a long execution period

Check out the incredible speaker line-up to see who will be joining Linda.
