Associate Professor Victor Koh is the Pro-Tem CEO and Chairman of the Hospital Planning Committee for Tengah General and Community Hospital, the newest member of the National University Health System (NUHS). In this role, he is building not just a new, dynamic healthcare team but also designing a future-ready institution around the needs of the Western community.
A/Prof Koh concurrently heads the Department of Ophthalmology at the National University Hospital, and the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore. A strong advocate for advancing medical innovation, he leads SPIN (Ophthalmology), NUHS' flagship programme for translational innovation, driving breakthroughs that bring research from bench to bedside.
A/Prof Koh is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of medical professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. His dedication to education has earned him multiple Young Educator and Clinician Mentor Awards. He is also a recipient of Public Administration Medal (Bronze), at the National Day Awards 2025.
